  • Offer a solid return on investment with low total cost of ownership
    LIMA, Peru. -10 August, 2009 - Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), leading provider of software solutions business for the average market and divisions of large global companies, announced the results of a recent report of the Aberdeen Group emphasized the success that Epicor to deliver a low total cost of ownership (TCO) and a solid return on investment (ROI) middle market clients. The survey results available in the report entitled “Customer Epicor of the market environment: Beating the best of the industry with a lower TCO1”, compared the performance of Epicor with the highest standards and the average figures for the industry for several key performance measures.

    Research data show that Epicor exceeded both best scores and averages industry between medium-sized enterprises in the areas of improvement in complete sales and time; improves fulfillment of billing and total average improvements programming. Epicor also exceeds the average levels of industry in reducing administrative costs and inventory metrics.

  • In a marked improvement on its recent performance, mid-market ERP provider Epicor Software Corp. said that it expects to post record software license and total revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2007, when it announces its financial results on Feb. 5.

    Fourth-quarter 2007 software license revenue will come in between $36 million and $37 million, the company said, representing a year-over-year increase of 11% to 15% compared with 2006 fourth-quarter license revenue of $32.3 million.

    Total revenue for the quarter will amount to $115 million to $117 million, up from $104.4 million in the comparable period in 2006.

    Important Venezuelan Group of Auto Parts Manufactures will Implement Epicor's Specialized for Manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning Solution

    The Epicor solution is an end-to-end, integrated software suite including enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain management (SCM), e-business, product life cycle management (PLM), and business processes modelling (BPM).

    The group had an in-house developed ERP system in place the past 10 years, which was now obsolete and difficult to support, making them consider the acquisition of a world-class ERP solution that would allow them to standardize all the functional areas of the companies in the group.

    Epicor had a software solution specifically designed for the manufacturing industry, Epicor Vantage; the implementation and customization of Vantage would be much less complex than if it were a generic application.

    Navas focused on the flexibility of the software and its ability to adapt to the heterogeneity of the companies that compose Inversiones Geandina; which vary from 15-20 users, up to companies with more than 180 users.

    "We believe the Epicor solution better adjusted to the average size of all the group companies, including both the medium-to-larger companies, as well as the medium-to-small companies," Navas said.

    "The relatively low cost in comparison with other existing solutions on the market, its ease of use and short time needed for the implementation, make Vantage a very suitable solution for manufacturing companies, such as those of the Geandina group," said Jose Maldonado, local associate of Technology Coast Partners (TCP), an authorized channel partner for the commercialization, implementation, maintenance and support of the Vantage solution in Venezuela.

    Industry-specific functionality such as plant floor control, production programming, and cost by production order, will offer significant support to Geandina’s business.

    During the second users meeting held this year in Venezuela, Epicor emphasized that offers its customers before the process of monetary conversion and the company's confidence in the Venezuelan market, and presented, hand in hand with your local partner, SCS, new capabilities available in the last version of Epicor iScala, as well as additional modules to complement the functionality you currently have clients support.
